How to add a messaging channel to Message Pro

Find the Channel Catalog, choose a channel, complete setup, and verify your first incoming message.

Message Pro brings messages from connected channels into one team inbox. Use the Channel Catalog to choose a channel, complete its setup, and test the connection.

Add a new channel

  1. 1

    Open Channels

From the sidebar, open Account settings and select Channels.

  2. 2

    Browse the catalog

Select Add Channel or Browse Catalog to see available options.

  3. 3

    Choose a channel

Search or filter the catalog, then select Connect for the channel you need. Available options may include WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, and more.

  4. 4

    Complete the connection

Follow the channel-specific prompts and grant the permissions required by its provider. Wait for a successful connection confirmation.

  5. 5

    Send a test message

Message the connected channel and open Inbox to confirm the conversation arrives.

After connecting

Return to the Channels list to manage the connection. If the test message does not arrive, review connection status and permissions before trying again.

Choose the right channel path

Start with the connection type your business actually needs. For WhatsApp, the official Business Platform and QR may appear as separate options; they are not interchangeable and do not necessarily share the same capabilities. Check the requirements and access on each option’s setup screen.

If the test message does not arrive

  1. 1

    Check connection status

Confirm that the channel is shown as connected in Channel settings.

  2. 2

    Check inbox and access

Confirm which inbox received the channel and whether your teammate can see it.

  3. 3

    Retry from another account

Send a fresh message from an external account and watch the correct inbox. If it still fails, review provider authorization.
