Broadcasts

Choose a broadcast audience and verify consent

Select the right audience and check contact permission before sending a broadcast.

Published · Updated

A useful broadcast begins with a clearly defined audience and a message they expect. Review the source of contacts and their permission before sending.

Before you start

You need broadcast access and contacts who have agreed to receive messages through the selected channel.

Steps

  1. 1

    Define the goal

Open Broadcasts and choose the message, channel, and audience you need to reach.

  2. 2

    Review contact data

Use the appropriate contact lists or filters and check that phone numbers and other details are current.

  3. 3

    Verify consent

Exclude people who have not opted in or have asked you to stop; possession of a number is not consent.

  4. 4

    Review a sample

Check the final recipient count, sample contacts, and message; send a test if that option is available.

Check the result

The final recipient count should match the intended audience and exclude opted-out contacts.
